1st Place - NASA's Predicting Pushback Time Competition

As part of a proficient team of three, I built an airline pushback prediction model using the XGBoost regressor, achieving a mean absolute error of 4.5091. This involved the analysis of air traffic and weather data from 10 different airports, successfully processing a dataset containing 26 million records. Our efforts led us to secure the first place among 377 participants, with a prize pool of $50,000. This accomplishment demonstrated our ability to collaboratively handle and process large datasets, while employing complex machine learning algorithms efficiently.

1st Prize - University of Rochester CMTI Create-a-thon

I, along with my team of three, undertook extensive research and devised an innovative solution aimed at tackling healthcare accessibility issues in remote locations. Our solution demonstrated a novel application of data science in addressing a critical issue in healthcare technology. Our innovative approach topped a competitive event and earned us a $1000 cash prize, highlighting our problem-solving skills, innovation, and teamwork.
